For me, one of my biggest struggles is overeating. So here are a couple tips that can help anyone who has the same problem.

1. eat slower - don’t rush, enjoy your food. you’ll be able to tell when you’re full and you can avoid overeating. take your time.

2. use smaller plates/bowls - by using smaller plates and bowls you can trick yourself into eating the proper portions since your plate/bowl will look more full than if you use larger plates.

3. drink water - you should drink a glass of water before you eat to make sure you’re actually hungry and not thirsty. if you are still hungry, eat. while you’re eating drink water. and drink some more when you’re done.

4. acknowledge fullness - by eating slower and drinking water you’ll have time to notice when you are full. when you’re full, stop eating, save it for later or the next day. there’s nothing wrong with leftovers.

5. keep a food journal - by writing down what you eat you’ll feel more accountable and make better choices. you can also use this journal when you run out of ideas for meals and snacks.

6. protein protein protein - eat your meats, beans & legumes. these will make you feel full longer. PLUS they’re great for building up your muscles.

7. allow small indulgences - and of course you can’t forget, moderation. don’t ban anything! having a little bit of ice cream, or a couple french fries, or a cookie every now and then it will not hurt you!

Oatmeal Breakfast Cookie
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup Oats
  • 2 Tbls whole wheat flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbls maple syrup (I use sugar free)
  • 3 Tbls vanilla Greek yogurt (I used Chobani Non-Fat)
  • 1 Tbls chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbls chopped nuts
Instructions
  1. Stir everything together in a bowl until everything is combined. Place in the center of a small microwave plate. The mixture will be pretty wet, this is not something you can really do with your hands. Gently press down, just slightly. Microwave for 60-70 seconds. Your cookie is done when it springs back, and is no longer sticky on top. Enjoy warm for gooey chocolate!

I always see on my dash how there aren’t enough pictures of larger ladies working out, so I asked Lovie to snap a few pics during our workout. Sadly, I missed more of the hardcore activities before I thought to ask for pics, but you are left with these lovely jewels for some Fat-Girl-Fitspo <3

I’m 265lbs. I look like sh*t at the gym. I know I am ‘fat as hell’ and not very ‘hardcore’ in some b*tch a** anon’s opinion, but clearly: IDGAF. I run hard. I do CrossFit. I do MetCon. I Olympic Lift. I IGNORE everyone who tells me I can’t or that I shouldn’t because of my size: F*CK THAT. You can do anything you set your mind to with proper practice/training, which doesn’t mean you need a trainer. All you need is a capability to read, to watch, or to follow after others. Teach yourself. Be your own GD role model and ROCK THAT SH*T. If I can do it, you can do it and I will be here to help and inspire and answer anything you wanna ask, so long as I am Tumblin’. Well…unless you’re a rude anon b*tch, then you can enjoy failing at making me feel bad, because idgaf <3

That’s fucking right !
